[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] LG Hausys is accelerating its B2C interior market strategy by newly renewing its flagship showroom, ‘LG Z:IN Square (LG Ji-in Square)’, located in the furniture street of Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.
In this regard, LG Hausys recently announced that it has revamped ‘LG Ji-in Square’ into a customer-centered interior showroom where visitors can explore the latest residential space trends and experience digital untact (contactless) services.
Opened in 2014, ‘LG Ji-in Square’ is a large showroom with a total floor area of 1,690㎡ (approximately 510 pyeong) across three floors. Since its opening, it has established itself as a popular interior destination visited by over 2,000 people monthly, offering total solution services from product consultation and design proposals to connecting with construction companies.
Through this renewal, ‘LG Ji-in Square’ has been reborn into three concept spaces: the 1st floor Lifestyle Zone, the 2nd floor Material Library, and the 3rd floor Showroom and Customer Experience Space.
The 1st floor Lifestyle Zone is designed like a model house featuring trendy spaces where LG Hausys’ interior products and LG Electronics’ home appliances are applied together. These spaces include traditional areas such as living rooms, kitchens, children’s rooms, and bathrooms, as well as recently spotlighted areas like home offices, home cafes, and pet spaces.
In particular, the 1st floor has newly established the ‘Designer’s Trend Cube’, which showcases trendy spaces each season in collaboration with external interior designers, allowing customers visiting ‘LG Ji-in Square’ to always experience the latest interior trends.
The 2nd floor Material Library has been transformed into an untact (contactless) experience space where customers can easily check various product information and installation cases for windows, flooring, wallpaper, artificial marble, and more by themselves without staff consultation, using digital catalogs, videos, and simulation devices.
Additionally, a ‘Customer Pain Point Wall’ has been installed on the stairwell walls between floors, proposing solutions to common customer inquiries by interior space and product type, thereby enhancing customer convenience.
The 3rd floor serves as a showroom space for premium kitchen and bathroom products and also functions as a communication space where various seminars and cooking classes are held. It is planned to be operated as a space for diverse customer experience activities in the future.
Kim Hee-seon, Executive Director of Korea Sales and Marketing at LG Hausys, stated, “The newly renovated LG Ji-in Square has been reborn as a space that maximizes customer satisfaction through lifestyle-centered space composition, untact experience provision, and pain point resolution. We will continue to develop LG Ji-in Square as a representative interior showroom that customers in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area must visit before starting interior construction.”
