The 298th 1st Regular Session of Seocho District Council Closes...Approval of 16.6 Billion Won Supplementary Budget

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The Seocho District Council (Chairperson Kim Ansook) concluded the 298th 1st Regular Session with the 5th plenary session on the 10th.

At this 5th plenary session, the 2019 fiscal year settlement and approval of supplementary expenditure were passed, and the 3rd supplementary budget for the general and special accounts amounting to 16.6 billion KRW was approved after a reduction of 317 million KRW from the original 16.9 billion KRW.

Key reductions include 109 million KRW for the Urban Canvas development project and 100 million KRW for the design project of above-ground distribution equipment (distribution boxes).

Additionally, the resignation of Assemblyman Jeon Kyung-hee from the Operations Committee and the appointment of Assemblyman Oh Se-cheol were approved.

At the 4th plenary session held on the 7th, the first session after the opening of the 8th term's second half, District Mayor Cho Eun-hee responded to district administration questions including Assemblyman Kim Jung-woo's inquiries about the open recruitment for the public health center director position, restrictions and prohibitions on gatherings in densely populated residential areas, and the relocation of the National Medical Center. The session also handled agenda items such as the partial amendment of the Ordinance on Support for Small Business Owners in Seocho District and the partial amendment of the Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Seocho District Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund.
