Recognition for Contributions to the Inheritance and Development of Traditional Culture and the Loyalty, Filial Piety, and Courtesy Sectors

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hong Jaehee] Chae Young-byeong, a member of the Jeonju City Council in Jeollabuk-do, received the Silver Award in the Council category of the Korea Chung-Hyo Grand Prize in recognition of his dedication to the succession and development of traditional culture and the Chung-Hyo-Ye (loyalty, filial piety, and propriety) sector.
On the 10th, the City Council announced that Councilor Chae Young-byeong (Hyoja 4·5-dong) received the Silver Award in the Council category of the Korea Chung-Hyo Grand Prize from the Korea Chung-Hyo Grand Prize Re-selection Committee at the 7th Korea Chung-Hyo Grand Prize Awards Ceremony held at the Jeonju Baul Center.
On this day, the Korea Chung-Hyo Grand Prize Re-selection Committee explained the reason for the award, stating that Councilor Chae has been working as a member of the Welfare and Environment Committee to improve the quality of life for citizens and to create a council that sincerely serves the citizens, while also dedicating himself to the succession and development of our traditional culture and the Chung-Hyo-Ye sector.
This awards ceremony is hosted by the Korea Chung-Hyo Grand Prize Re-selection Committee and organized by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Korea Youth Chung-Hyo Corps Jeonbuk Federation, selecting and awarding recipients who have passionately worked in various fields such as companies, organizations, public officials, the general public, and students.
Councilor Chae Young-byeong stated, “I will accept today’s award as a sign to continue striving to make Jeonju a happy city for its citizens,” and expressed his determination, saying, “I will carry out council activities that embrace the socially vulnerable and listen more to their voices.”
