[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Dongmoon Construction announced that it will launch sales this month for 'Gwangyang Dongmoon Good Morning Hill Mom City' in A1 Block, Wau District, Madong, Gwangyang-si, Jeollanam-do.

This complex is a large-scale apartment complex consisting of 15 buildings with 1,114 households, ranging from 2 basement floors to 27 floors above ground, and all units are supplied with a single area of 84㎡ (exclusive area).

The Wau District, where the complex is located, is an urban development project site developed on a 636,550㎡ site with 3,703 households (10,000 people) by Gwangyang City for systematic urban development and securing urban competitiveness. It is planned as a residential area supporting POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks and the Gwangyang-Yeosu National Industrial Complex.

Among them, A1 Block, where Gwangyang Dongmoon Good Morning Hill Mom City is located, features a 'Baesan Imhae' terrain with Mount Gayasan spreading behind the complex and the South Sea in front. It offers a pleasant residential environment with nearby Wau Ecological Lake Park, Baegun Greenland Park, and Madong Sports Park.

In terms of transportation, it is convenient for wide-area travel to Yeosu, Suncheon, and others via the Yi Sun-sin Bridge and Namhae Expressway. An elementary school is planned to be built around the complex, and there are large marts, cinemas, and hospitals nearby.

It also boasts excellent proximity to workplaces with POSCO Gwangyang Steelworks, Singeum General Industrial Complex, Gwangyang National Industrial Complex, and Seonghwang General Industrial Complex nearby.

Dongmoon Construction secured views as well as sunlight and ventilation through a south-facing building arrangement. Except for some units, the 4-bay structure provides a sense of openness.

The parking lot is 100% underground except for commercial use and designed with wide spaces to secure ample parking. Community facilities such as a fitness center, GX room, golf practice range, as well as male and female saunas, kids' room, and a small library will also be established.

A sales official said, "Gwangyang City has an average age of 40.8, making it the youngest and highest-income area in Jeollanam-do, but the proportion of old apartments over 20 years old exceeds 50%, and there were almost no large-scale apartment complexes. The 1,114 households of Gwangyang Dongmoon Good Morning Hill Mom City will feature floor plans centered on 4-bay designs, abundant landscaping, green spaces, rich community facilities, and specialized mom-related facilities."

The model house is scheduled to open on Jungmajungang-ro, Gwangyang-si, and a promotional center will operate on Jungma-ro until the opening. Move-in is expected in January 2023.
