Lecture by Communication Expert Professor Yoon Tae-ik from 2 PM on the 16th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hong Jae-hee] Gunsan City, Jeonbuk, will conduct the Saemangeum Academy lectures through its YouTube channel to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
On the 10th, the city announced that the "Gunsan Saemangeum Academy," a lecture program inviting notable figures for citizens, will be held on the official Gunsan City YouTube channel from 2 PM on the 16th for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The Saemangeum Academy lectures have been held since 2000 in large auditoriums with an audience of 200 to 300 people each time, but this month's lecture will be presented via online live streaming due to COVID-19.
This lecture will invite communication expert Professor Yoon Tae-ik, who will deliver a talk titled "Change Beginning from Myself," focusing on introspection and how to transform one's future self.
To provide a vivid sense of presence, the city will film the lecturer directly at the Lifelong Learning Center (Miryong-dong) using two cameras and offer the live feed to citizens in real time.
Anyone can participate in this lecture through the official Gunsan City YouTube channel, and inquiries can be made to the City Hall Education Support Division.
A city official said, "We will continue to strive to make it easier for citizens to access lectures by notable figures through various methods."
