[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Future Stream Networks (hereinafter FSN) announced on the 10th that its subsidiary Ringer Water's hydration beverage brand ‘Lingti’ has signed an exclusive model contract with volleyball queen Kim Yeon-kyung.
Ringer Water plans to solidify its position as the ‘national hydration beverage’ brand through this model contract with Kim Yeon-kyung, and focus on various campaigns to raise awareness about the ‘importance of daily hydration’ during this summer, which is expected to be extremely hot.
A Ringer Water official stated, “Kim Yeon-kyung, who is nationally supported and loved for her world-class skills and thorough self-management, was judged to be the model that best aligns with Ringer Water’s values. As awareness of everyday and chronic dehydration gradually increases these days, Lingti, which constantly challenges itself to present the best products, will also strive to grow into a world-class brand like Kim Yeon-kyung, with whom we have signed this model contract.”
Known as a hydration beverage created by a military doctor, ‘Lingti’ was first launched in 2017. Lingti began gaining great popularity through word of mouth from customers’ vivid experiences, and earlier this year, it received widespread public response through the TV commercial series ‘Curious about Lingti?’ featuring 13 actual buyers. Recently, in the ‘Sports Drink Interest (4th week of June)’ data survey released by the Korea National Sport University Sports Analysis Center (CSPA), ‘Lingti’ showed an overwhelming market share of 85%, rapidly emerging as the number one brand.
The company stated that the total cumulative sales of ‘Lingti’ exceeded 9 million packs in the first half of the year, and it is currently on the verge of surpassing 10 million packs.
