[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] AI (Artificial Intelligence) tutor company Riiid announced on the 10th that it has established Riiid Labs in Silicon Valley, USA, to oversee global operations and is pushing for entry into the global market.
Riiid is a company that provides one-on-one personalized learning solutions based on data-driven deep learning technology.
Riiid Labs plans to explore B2B (business-to-business) opportunities through partnerships with educational institutions in regions such as South America and the Middle East, using the US market as a base. It also aims to secure a leading position in the AI technology-based learning solutions market.
Upon establishing the US corporation, Riiid appointed David Yi, former head of ACT Asia region, as the head of the US corporation. Simon Shin, former senior member of Bluepoint Partners, will serve as Riiid Labs' CPO (Chief Product Officer).
Riiid plans to actively target the global education market with AI-based learning solutions in response to the increasing need for non-face-to-face education due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
David Yi, head of Riiid Labs, stated, "There is already significant interest in Riiid's technology and solutions in the global market, including the US, and we are discussing various partnerships. We will ensure that more learners worldwide can experience the most efficient personalized learning services."
