Reception at Administrative Welfare Centers and Worknet from the 13th to the 20th of this month
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, will recruit 4,500 participants for the job project "Hope Bucheon 4500" to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) from the 13th to the 20th.
This project aims to provide public jobs to vulnerable groups amid the economic crisis caused by COVID-19, supporting livelihoods and revitalizing the local economy.
The recruitment fields include ▲Living quarantine support ▲Youth support ▲Disaster prevention ▲Public rest area improvement ▲Emergency support for public tasks, totaling five areas. Participants will be assigned to each project department for four months from August to November.
Citizens aged 18 or older with work ability and in need of livelihood support due to the local economic downturn can apply by visiting their local administrative welfare center or through the Worknet website (www.work.go.kr).
Participants will receive an hourly wage of 8,590 KRW, weekly and annual leave allowances, and enrollment in the four major insurances. Working hours are 20 to 30 hours per week for those under 65 years old and 15 hours per week for those 65 and older.
The city will finalize participants after qualification screening in early August and post the list on the city website. Additionally, selected individuals will be given opportunities to participate in job fairs and employment referral programs related to Bucheon City and affiliated organizations to connect them with private-sector jobs suitable for their personal capabilities.
