Former Secretary to Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon Files Complaint Alleging Sexual Harassment On the afternoon of the 9th, a report was received that Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon was missing. Police and fire authorities have dispatched to the area near the Finnish Ambassador's residence in Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, where the last record of the mayor's mobile phone was left, and are controlling access.

According to the police, A, a former secretary of Mayor Park, visited the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency with a lawyer on the night of the previous day (the 8th) to file a complaint. A was investigated until early morning that day.


A, who worked as Mayor Park's secretary in 2017, reportedly testified that she was sexually harassed by Mayor Park on multiple occasions. It was also reported that Mayor Park sent several personal photos via mobile phone Telegram and submitted the conversation contents as evidence.


The police have only received the complainant's statement so far.


Meanwhile, Mayor Park, who left the mayor's official residence located in Gahoe-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul at around 10:44 a.m. that day, has been out of contact for 10 hours as of 8:30 p.m. The police are tracking Mayor Park's whereabouts by deploying two experienced units, drones, and police dogs.
