Award ceremony of the Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Idea Competition.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The LINC+ Project Group at Dong-Eui University held the 'Artificial Intelligence Idea Competition Awards Ceremony' on the 8th at the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building of Dong-Eui University.

This competition, conducted by the Dong-Eui University Big Data Artificial Intelligence Center to strengthen creative thinking, collaboration, and communication skills through the process of discovering and generating ideas using artificial intelligence, saw participation from 90 teams totaling 354 members.

After document and presentation evaluations, one grand prize team, two excellence award teams, three merit award teams, and four encouragement award teams were selected. The grand prize was awarded to Sujin Heo and Haneul Kim, fourth-year students majoring in Industrial ICT Technology Engineering, who submitted the idea for a 'User-Based Dementia Alert Service.'

Kim Seong-hee, director of the Dong-Eui University Big Data Artificial Intelligence Center, stated, "Industry professionals participated as judges in this competition, which can be seen as recognition of the business feasibility of the ideas," and added, "We plan to provide mentoring to connect the awarded ideas with clubs and support them through to startup development."
