The Ministry of Education announced that as of 10 a.m. that day, this was the number of schools that adjusted their in-person class schedules.
The number of schools that suspended in-person classes decreased by 3 from the previous day (480 schools). However, since the 2nd (522 schools), the number has remained in the triple digits for six consecutive days based on class days.
As confirmed cases continue to occur mainly in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gwangju, and Daejeon, schools where in-person classes are canceled are appearing. By region, only in Gwangju, 380 schools were unable to hold in-person classes.
