[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk announced on the 9th that it held the 'Information Security Quiz Contest' on the 8th in celebration of the 9th Information Security Day (the second Wednesday of July every year).
This contest was prepared to raise awareness and improve the level of information security among employees in preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution and the intelligent information era.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the contest was conducted online in a non-face-to-face format and was open to all employees of the city's affiliated organizations.
The quiz consisted of a total of 10 questions covering essential knowledge that must be known during work, based on information security and personal information protection education content.
The city increased employee participation by providing small prizes through a draw for those who achieved a perfect score on the quiz.
In addition to the quiz contest, the city plans to produce and distribute a screensaver containing information security practice rules that employees must strictly follow.
A city official stated, “Through this contest, we expect to raise employees' interest and sense of responsibility regarding information security and provide an opportunity for them to practice it on their own during work processes. We will continue to do our best to implement safe and trustworthy administration through regular education.”
