[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Two fellow athletes of the late athlete Choi Sook-hyun, who filed a complaint against the Gyeongju City Hall triathlon (ironman triathlon) coach and team doctor (exercise prescriber), appeared at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office on the 9th as complainants.

At around 2 p.m. that day, lawyer Park Ji-hoon, who appeared at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office with the two athletes, said, "First, as a witness who witnessed the damage to athlete Choi Sook-hyun, they are scheduled to undergo a witness investigation," and added, "There will be complainant statements related to the case filed today in the future."

On the same day, the two athletes filed a complaint with the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office against Gyeongju City Hall triathlon coach Kim Gyu-bong, exercise prescriber Ahn Ju-hyun, team captain Jang, and senior athlete Kim on charges including assault. These are the same individuals that the late athlete Choi had directly filed a complaint against in March before taking her own life. The two athletes are both victims who were directly assaulted by Ahn and others, and witnesses who saw the late athlete Choi being assaulted. It was reported that the investigation was conducted by a prosecutor from the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office who traveled to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, considering that the two athletes reside in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, respectively.

Regarding the fact that the two complainants did not appear in person, lawyer Park said, "Since the late athlete Choi passed away, the psychological burden has been great, and they are receiving psychological treatment, so they are refraining from media interviews."
