At a briefing on the '5th Anniversary Achievements and Plans' held at the Government Seoul Office on the same day, Public Shopping announced that it made a profit of 900 million KRW in August last year, and then recorded over 2.1 billion KRW in December, generating nearly 5.5 billion KRW in profit over five months in the second half of the year.
This year, with the expansion of non-face-to-face shopping and being designated as an official mask sales outlet, it reported sales of 454.5 billion KRW and a profit of 7.6 billion KRW in the first half of the year. This represents a monthly growth of at least 11% and up to 73% compared to last year.
Marking its 5th anniversary, Public Shopping announced plans to promote five major innovation strategy projects over the next five years: ▲raising sales commissions and designating mandatory broadcast channels ▲mobile live commerce business ▲achieving 100% direct purchase ▲constructing a dedicated home shopping building ▲digitalizing the call center.
