Buk-gu executed 130.6 billion KRW, which is 92.5% of the rapid execution target amount of 141.2 billion KRW, and was selected as the best institution among 69 autonomous districts nationwide, receiving a commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety along with securing a financial incentive of 80 million KRW.
This first half of the year, Buk-gu focused on revitalizing the livelihood economy and creating jobs by rapidly executing budgets for projects with significant economic ripple effects such as supporting small business owners and constructing SOC (Social Overhead Capital).
In particular, projects such as the Good Consumption Project and the promotion of flower farm consumption were carried out to respond to COVID-19.
Additionally, by operating a rapid execution situation room to focus on managing major projects over 10 million KRW and streamlining execution procedures and analyzing execution status to improve execution rates, Buk-gu strengthened the foundation for rapid execution, which led to good results.
District Mayor Moon In of Buk-gu said, “This result is the outcome of all departments of the district office actively working to recover the livelihood economy stagnated by COVID-19,” and added, “In the second half of the year, we will continue expanded and proactive financial management in line with government policies to overcome COVID-19.”
