[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Singer Tak Jae-hoon revealed that he will not inherit his father's company.
On the 8th, the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star' aired a 'Crazy People' special featuring Tak Jae-hoon, Go Eun-ah, Lee Eun-gyeol, and Victor Han.
During the broadcast, when asked by the hosts if he was "completely unaffected by COVID-19," Tak Jae-hoon said, "Even before COVID-19 occurred, I was living as if it were the COVID era. I think I'm better off than others."
Kim Gu-ra, addressing Tak Jae-hoon who has been less active in broadcasting, asked, "Is it by your own will or by external circumstances?" and added, "There are rumors that Tak Jae-hoon's father is wealthy," drawing attention.
Lee Ji-hye, who appeared as a special host that day, also asked Tak Jae-hoon, "Did you have any income last month?"
To this, Tak Jae-hoon responded, "There are so many people without income these days, so asking if I had no income is harsh," and added, "I had none in March and June, but I expect to have some in July."
Kim Gu-ra asked, "Since your father is rich, does he give you an allowance?"
Tak Jae-hoon replied, "Not at all. He runs a small company, and he gave an interview saying he would pass it on to me. I said no."
When Kim Gu-ra explained, "Your father's company is a ready-mixed concrete company with an annual sales of 18 billion won," Tak Jae-hoon said, "I know nothing about cement. I only saw the ready-mixed concrete trucks. Since long ago, whenever I saw those trucks, I ran away quickly. I was afraid my father might catch me."
Hearing this, Ahn Young-mi asked, "Isn't the 18 billion won inside the ready-mixed concrete?" to which Tak Jae-hoon replied, "It's cash continuously circulating," causing laughter.
