Baek Jong-won X Ham Young-jun Power... Two Kelp 'Ottogi Odongtongmyeon' Officially Released

The ‘Limited Edition Odongtongmyeon,’ launched to help Wando kelp farmers struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has received great love from consumers since its broadcast on SBS variety show ‘Delicious Rendezvous’ on the 11th of last month. On the show, Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, asked Ottogi Chairman Ham Young-jun to help clear the inventory of kelp from Wando, Jeollanam-do, and Ottogi prepared the limited edition release to coincide with the official broadcast.

Currently, on Ottogi’s own online store ‘Ottogi Mall,’ all inventory sold out within two days of the broadcast, drawing significant attention as a ‘positive influence’ and showing explosive sales growth.

An Ottogi representative said, "With two pieces of clean Wando kelp, the deeper and richer broth flavor has received favorable reviews, leading to repeat purchases by consumers. Therefore, we have decided to continue selling Odongtongmyeon with two pieces of kelp included."
