[Asia Economy Reporter Inho Yoo] Daewoo E&C announced on the 9th that its brand ‘Prugio’ won the Grand Prize in the apartment category at the ‘2020 Korea Service Awards’ ceremony hosted by the Korea Standards Association on the 3rd.
The Korea Standards Association highly evaluated Daewoo E&C’s achievements in contributing to customer convenience and the development of residential culture through continuous innovation and discovery of service products since launching the eco-friendly brand ‘Prugio’ in 2003, which embodies the philosophy of ‘living a healthy and happy life in harmony with nature.’
Last year, Daewoo E&C introduced products and designs reflecting a new philosophy, ‘The Natural Nobility,’ through a major renewal of the ‘Prugio’ brand.
Along with the brand renewal, four premium product groups were announced: Be Unique, offering differentiated design products tailored to each customer’s inherent lifestyle; Be Right, representing eco-friendly products and services; Be Gentle, meaning customized services of care and respect for residents; and Be Smart, referring to smart solutions that minimize residents’ inconveniences and hassles while supporting safe and convenient living.
A Daewoo E&C official said, “We were recognized for achieving change and innovation across the company’s products and services to the extent that everything except the name was changed,” adding, “We will continue to lead the Korean housing market by not stopping change and innovation so that premium becomes a daily reality in the lives of residents living in Prugio, not just through simple technology development.”
