Doosan Robotics Launches 6 New Collaborative Robot Models

Doosan Robotics Launches 6 New Collaborative Robot Models A Series performing auxiliary tasks on machine tools

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Doosan Robotics, the No. 1 domestic collaborative robot company, announced on the 9th that it will launch a total of six new products, including four models in the A series and two models in the H series.

The A series reduces costs to lessen the burden on customers while achieving industry-leading speed and excellent acceleration. By applying advanced safety algorithms, it obtained the highest level in the safety performance evaluation conducted by T?V S?D, an internationally accredited testing and certification organization.

For delicate tasks requiring human dexterity, customers can choose models equipped with precise force sensors, expanding the range of product options according to the performance requirements of each process.

The H series has a payload capacity of 25kg, making it capable of carrying the heaviest loads among collaborative robots currently available worldwide. While handling heavy objects stably, the robot weighs only 75kg, about half the weight of competing products. Torque sensors are installed on all six axes, allowing flexible deployment in confined spaces or on mobile robots without the need for fences.

It is expected to be widely used in logistics, textile industries, and more, as it can simultaneously transport items of various weights and perform palletizing (loading goods onto pallets).

Doosan Robotics CEO Sangcheol Kwak stated, "The newly launched A series and H series have competitive advantages over global competitors in various aspects such as performance and price. We will lead the smart factory construction projects in the post-COVID era and become a company pioneering new markets for collaborative robots in services, medical, logistics, and more."
