Ulsan City Promotes COVID-19 Safe Travel Destinations Nationwide
Signs Business Agreement with Korea Fair Travel Association for Tourism Product Development
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City will sign a "Ulsan Tourism Product Development and Promotion Business Agreement" with the Korea Fair Travel Association at 2:30 PM on the 9th in the Citizens' Hall on the first floor of the City Council.
This agreement was made with the Korea Fair Travel Association (with 22,806 member companies), which has many member companies by region, to proactively respond to attracting domestic tourists as recent tourism trends have shifted from overseas to domestic due to COVID-19.
According to the agreement, Ulsan City will provide the latest tourism information such as excellent accommodations, restaurants, and experiential tourism to develop Ulsan tourism products for the Korea Fair Travel Association members, and will cooperate by prioritizing support from cultural tourism interpreters during actual product operations.
Member companies plan to use the Ulsan City logo on newly developed Ulsan tourism products to secure product reliability.
There is also a plan to expand cooperation across Ulsan tourism by focusing on linked promotion of recently launched new projects such as support for COVID-19 emotional labor workers and Ulsan tourism certification shot tours.
An official from Ulsan City said, "Through this agreement, ahead of the summer vacation season, we will widely promote Ulsan’s outdoor tourist sites where social distancing is possible in daily life, so that Ulsan can be recognized as a COVID-19 safe travel destination where people can enjoy nature comfortably."
