[Breaking] 5-Year-Old Kazakh Child in Incheon Tests Positive for COVID-19 Three Days After Entry

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Yeonsu-gu, Incheon announced on the 9th that a 5-year-old child A, a Kazakhstani national living in Yeonsu 1-dong, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

According to Yeonsu-gu, A entered the country through Incheon International Airport on the 6th of this month with his father and received an inconclusive result in the first specimen test at the public health center screening clinic on the 7th.

On the same day, A tested positive in the second test and was urgently transferred to Inha University Hospital. A's father tested negative in the first test on the 7th and is currently under self-quarantine.
