[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Kim Ji-eun, who exposed the sexual assault by former Chungnam Governor Ahn Hee-jung, has filed lawsuits against netizens who posted malicious comments about her.
According to the Seoul Suseo Police Station on the 8th, the police are investigating after Kim filed lawsuits against 40 netizens on May 6 for defamation and insult.
The sued netizens reportedly posted comments such as "Isn't it an affair rather than (former Governor Ahn's) sexual assault?" on articles introducing Kim's book "I am Kim Ji-eun," published last March.
