Macquarie Korea donated a total of 40.72 million KRW to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation and supported Pink Boxes for 100 female adolescents from multicultural families. The Pink Box support project is a campaign by the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation that provides sanitary products such as sanitary pads and underwear to low-income children and adolescents in the Seoul area to promote healthy growth.

The event was held non-face-to-face, and employees participated in soap-making volunteer activities from home. Yonghwan Kim, CEO of Macquarie Korea, said, "I believed that efforts for social contribution should not be delayed, especially during the COVID-19 situation," and added, "Macquarie Korea, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, will continue to work with the Macquarie Group Foundation, the social contribution foundation of the Macquarie Group, to contribute to the communities where we work and live."

The Macquarie Community Day marked its 11th year this year. For the first-ever non-face-to-face Macquarie Community Day, the Macquarie Group Foundation provided employees with online programs on topics such as "how to conduct non-face-to-face online volunteer activities" and "the impact of COVID-19 on social contribution organizations."
