Recruitment of Cultural Arts Sponsorship Intermediary Organizations and Certification Bodies

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service announced on the 8th that they will select cultural arts sponsorship intermediary organizations and certification bodies through recruitment and evaluation.

The Cultural Arts Sponsorship Certification System is a support project conducted since 2015 based on the "Act on the Promotion of Cultural Arts Sponsorship." The simplification of evaluation items from the previous year and post-inspection items reduces the burden of document preparation, encouraging many organizations to participate.

Certified organizations receive benefits such as ▲ preferential immigration cards ▲ use of certification marks ▲ preferential interest rates from KB Kookmin Bank for small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies ▲ invitations to cultural arts cooperation events. They can also receive additional points when applying for the "Worker Vacation Support Project" and the "Leisure-Friendly Company Certification System."

Applications will be accepted until the 31st of next month. In relation to this, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold an information session at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on the 22nd. The session will provide guidance on the certification system, application procedures, and required documents, and the Korea Mecenat Association, as a sponsorship intermediary organization, will introduce its role.
