[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] The September mock test for the 2021 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) will be held on September 16.
The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation announced the implementation plan for the September mock test on the 9th.
Both current students and graduates can take the test, and examinees who applied for the second High School Graduation Equivalency Examination this year can also participate. The registration period is from the 13th to the 23rd. Current students should apply through their enrolled schools, graduates can apply at their former high schools or academies if they wish, and equivalency exam candidates should apply at the education office in charge of their current residence or at an academy where they can take the test. Examinees other than current students must pay a fee of 12,000 KRW.
The September mock test will apply the 2015 revised curriculum to all subjects except Korean history, and the linkage between the EBS CSAT textbooks and lectures and the mock test questions will be maintained at about 70%. Individual score reports can be collected at the place of registration on October 16.
Visually impaired examinees who wish to do so will be provided with a computer equipped with a screen reading program, question files compatible with the program, and a braille information terminal that can use the calculator function in the mathematics section.
Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), online testing opportunities will be granted only to those who wish to take the test but are unable to enter the test site.
