[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics has unveiled the invitation for the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for August 5.

On the 8th, Samsung sent out invitations announcing the Unpacked event to be held online on August 5 (local time). The Unpacked event will be live-streamed on Samsung Electronics' website at 11 PM Korean time and 10 AM Eastern Time in the US. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be held online for the first time, replacing the offline events that had been held in New York over the past few years.

The invitation video released by Samsung Electronics features the S Pen, hinting at the Galaxy Note20, and the main color known as "Mystic Bronze." The pen tip appearing early in the video suggests the launch of an upgraded S Pen, while the liquid in Mystic Bronze color dripping and spreading into a crown shape is interpreted as signaling the release of a new smartphone product featuring this main color.

At this Unpacked event, Samsung Electronics plans to unveil the Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Fold2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, a new wireless earphone called Galaxy Buds Live (tentative name), and a new smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch3.

Samsung stated, "Samsung Galaxy devices strive to help consumers live better in new ways and stay connected with the world," adding, "Through the online ‘Samsung Galaxy Unpacked’ event, we provide users with an opportunity to experience the latest Galaxy devices and ecosystem."
