Daekyo Cultural Foundation Announces Call for Entries for the 28th Noon Nopi Children's Literature Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Daekyo Group and Daekyo Cultural Foundation announced on the 8th that they will hold the '28th Noonopi Children's Literature Contest' open call for submissions.

This contest is divided into the 'Children's Literature Award category,' 'Children's Original Poetry category,' 'Global category,' and 'Youth Literature Award category.' The submission period is until September 28 of this year.

The Children's Literature Award is divided into the fairy tale category (15 million KRW) and the picture book category (10 million KRW), with prize money awarded to the grand prize winners in each category. Additionally, promotion and marketing support will be provided only for the winning works that are published in the future.

The grand prize winner of the Children's Original Poetry category will receive the Minister of Education Award. The grand prize winner of the newly established Youth Literature Award category this year will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award.

The Noonopi Children's Literature Contest is jointly hosted by the Daekyo Cultural Foundation and the World Youth Culture Foundation. The winning works will be announced on November 13 of this year. Detailed information can be found on the Daekyo Cultural Foundation website.
