[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] A website called 'Digital Prison,' which publicly discloses personal information of violent criminals such as sex offenders and child abusers, has emerged, and the site operator stated, "I consider myself a 'defamer by factual assertion.'"

Park, the director operating 'Digital Prison,' said in an interview with JTBC Newsroom on the 7th, "I went berserk after learning that my cousin was a victim of the Nth Room case. I started hacking extensively to catch sellers and buyers, which led to this point," he said.

On the day, he criticized, "What would you do if you met someone on the street who had repeatedly sexually assaulted 5- or 6-year-old children, served 8 years, and was released? These criminals are roaming around, so we need to be careful. The judiciary is giving such lenient punishments, which is why I came into existence. Also, reflection letters are only submitted to government agencies," he said.

Earlier, Park, the site operator, had been running an SNS account since May that disclosed personal information of suspects involved in sex crimes such as the Nth Room and Doctor's Room cases.

However, after the account was suspended, he reportedly started creating a homepage.

Meanwhile, as of the 7th, 'Digital Prison' has disclosed 75 personal profiles, including Son Jung-woo, the operator of 'Welcome to Video,' and the Gyeongju City Hall coach accused of assaulting the late athlete Choi Sook-hyun.
