[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Major leaguer Ryu Hyun-jin (33, Toronto Blue Jays) shared his feelings about entering Toronto, Canada, where his home stadium is located, on his social networking service (SNS) account.
On the 7th, Ryu posted on his Instagram account a photo of the CN Tower next to Toronto's Rogers Centre and the clubhouse locker, along with this year's Toronto regular season schedule.
Ryu conveyed the news of his arrival in Toronto with the message, "The team's 60-game schedule for 2020 has been announced. We are in Toronto and will meet you soon. Let's go Blue Jays!"
After the suspension of spring training games in March this year, Ryu Hyun-jin had been training individually in Dunedin, Florida, USA, where Toronto's spring camp is located, and arrived in Toronto the day before by chartered flight with the team.
Although the border closure between the United States and Canada has not yet been lifted, the Canadian government granted special approval for players to train at home, allowing them to enter Toronto.
