[Asia Economy Min Jun-young Intern Reporter] A man in his 20s of Myanmar nationality who stabbed a colleague to death with a weapon, claiming the colleague did not listen to him as the farm foreman, was arrested by the police.

The Gimhae Jungbu Police Station in Gyeongnam announced on the 7th that they have arrested and are investigating a Myanmar man, A (29), on suspicion of murder.

A is suspected of stabbing his colleague B (29) multiple times with a weapon around 12:35 PM at a paprika farm in Daedong-myeon, Gimhae City, after arguing that B was not properly harvesting paprika.

The police, who responded to a report from the farm owner, arrested A at the scene. B was taken to the hospital following the farm owner's report but ultimately died.

A, who was usually the foreman of the farm, was understood to have held a grudge against B for not listening to him.

The two had been colleagues working together at the farm for over two years and were reported not to be illegal residents.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant after conducting a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident with A.
