Magnitude 3.3 Earthquake in Incheon Ongjin Yeonpyeongdo Waters...KMA "Seismic Motion Felt in Nearby Areas"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] At around 2:08 PM on the 7th, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred in the waters 54 km south-southwest of Yeonpyeongdo, Ongjin-gun, Incheon.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the epicenter was at 37.19°N latitude and 125.55°E longitude, with a depth of 12 km.

Incheon is expected to experience a maximum seismic intensity of 3, and Chungnam a level of 2. The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Nearby areas to the earthquake may feel the tremors," and urged, "Please pay attention to safety."
