HDC Hyundai Development Company Holds the 1st Technology Proposal Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 7th that it will hold the "1st Technology Proposal Contest" to expand win-win cooperation with small and venture companies and to discover excellent technologies that will lead the future construction industry.

Through this first-ever Technology Proposal Contest, HDC Hyundai Development plans to discover companies with excellent technologies and encourage technological advancement through partnerships, thereby strengthening win-win cooperation and securing continuous growth momentum together.

Any domestic company can participate without special qualification requirements. Eligible technologies include ▲cost reduction, construction period shortening, construction method improvement, quality and safety enhancement technologies ▲smart production (modularization) and construction ICT technologies ▲specialized design (architecture and interior) ▲4th industrial revolution response technologies ▲value-creating ideas in the construction field, and any technology applicable to construction sites can be submitted.

Applications will be accepted from the 13th until September 11th through the official HDC Hyundai Development website. Afterwards, document screening will be conducted in October, followed by a presentation screening in November. Evaluation by field experts will be based on criteria such as quality improvement and enhancement level, creativity and originality, contribution to cost reduction (profitability), and applicability to actual sites.

The award ceremony is scheduled for December. Four companies with outstanding achievements will receive a total of 20 million KRW in technology development support funds, including a grand prize of 10 million KRW. In addition, opportunities for commercialization through pilot testing, registration as an HDC Hyundai Development partner company, long-term supply rights, and various other benefits will be provided. HDC Hyundai Development plans to continue sustainable co-growth by signing technology agreements with award-winning companies and providing mentoring to enhance their technological competitiveness.
