Kia Motors Launches 'Start Plan' Purchase Program for the 2030 Generation

Kia Motors Launches 'Start Plan' Purchase Program for the 2030 Generation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia Motors announced on the 7th that it has launched a new purchase program called the ‘Start Plan’ to alleviate the vehicle purchase burden for the 2030 generation.

The ‘Start Plan’ program offers benefits such as ▲partial deferment of vehicle price ▲special low-interest rates ▲various linked additional services.

Specifically, individual and sole proprietor customers of the 2030 generation (born between 1980 and 2000) who purchase Morning, Ray, K3, Niro HEV, Soul, Stonic, Seltos, or Sportage vehicles in July can defer up to 57% of the vehicle price without any down payment limit during the total 48-month installment period and receive a special low-interest rate of 3.5%, significantly reducing the burden of vehicle purchase.

For example, when purchasing a Seltos gasoline Prestige trim (vehicle price 22.48 million KRW after reflecting the individual consumption tax reduction), the customer pays about 250,000 KRW monthly for 48 months and pays the deferred amount of about 12.81 million KRW together with the last installment payment.

Additionally, customers using the ‘Start Plan’ who consider exchanging their vehicle for another Kia model can conveniently sell their vehicle using the ‘Used Car Price Guarantee Service’ and repay the remaining deferred amount.

Kia also plans to provide various additional benefits such as ▲interest-free loan support to reduce vehicle acquisition and registration tax burden ▲fuel cost discount of 300 KRW per liter ▲free subscription to the ‘K-Style Care+’ service that covers new car exterior damage.

A Kia official said, “After careful consideration of various benefits to relieve the vehicle purchase burden for the 2030 generation, we launched the ‘Start Plan’ purchase program,” adding, “We hope customers experience a safe and enjoyable car life through this program, which is less burdensome than long-term rentals.”
