[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Coway announced on the 7th that it has renewed its 'ISO 9001 and 14001' certifications from T?V S?D Korea, a global testing and certification organization headquartered in Munich, Germany.
This certification is an international standard for quality and environmental management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It evaluates and certifies whether quality and environmental management systems are properly implemented according to the standard requirements during product manufacturing and supply.
Coway first obtained ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications in 1995 and 1996 respectively, and has successfully renewed them for over 20 years, enhancing its quality and environmental management levels.
Jung Seonyong, head of Coway's TQA Center, said, "Coway professionally conducts reliability, safety, and environmental verification to develop and validate products at the industry's highest level." He added, "We will continue to respond to customer trust through various efforts such as strengthening safety certifications and chemical substance systems, along with differentiated product development."
