7-Eleven Launches Minions Character Merchandise

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Convenience store 7-Eleven announced on the 7th that it has officially partnered with Universal Studios to sequentially launch Minions character collaboration products across various categories.


The products introduced by 7-Eleven include eight items in the dessert, dairy beverage, beverage, and frozen categories. First, on the 8th, two types of Minions tarts, ‘Egg Tart (1,600 won)’ and ‘Cream Cheese Tart (1,700 won),’ will be released.


Starting with the release of the two Minions tarts, on the 15th of this month, four types of 7-Select processed milk, the store’s private brand (PB) products, will be renewed and relaunched featuring Minions character packaging. The four flavors are strawberry, chocolate, banana, and caf? latte, priced at 1,200 won each.


Additionally, 7-Eleven will launch ‘Minions Sparkling Orange Mango (1,200 won),’ a refreshing summer drink blending orange and mango to enjoy the sweet taste of tropical fruits, and ‘Minions Mini Hot Dog (10 pieces, 5,000 won),’ which contains juicy Uiseong garlic Vienna sausages inside soft pancakes. The ‘Minions Mini Hot Dog’ is baked instead of fried, offering a light flavor and bite-sized convenience.


7-Eleven plans to introduce about 20 more Minions products in categories such as refrigerated items, bread, and snacks by August, operating a total of approximately 30 Minions character collaboration products overall.
