[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), 20 universities have partially changed their university admission plans to ensure that high school seniors are not disadvantaged.
The Korea Council for University Education compiled and announced on the 7th the list of schools (20 universities) that applied for and received approval for changes in the 2021 university admission methods.
Fourteen universities, including Gyeongnam University, Kyungsung University, and Korea University, changed matters related to qualification criteria such as language proficiency. Although not approved by the Council for University Education, 23 universities independently adjusted their internal operation guidelines.
