[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] KB Kookmin Bank announced that it has selected 270 participants for the 'University Student Digital Supporters' to assist customers in using digital services.
Now in its fourth year, the 'University Student Digital Supporters' program consists of digitally savvy university students nationwide who serve as helpers to expand customers' experience with digital and non-face-to-face services and promote their usage.
The 'University Student Digital Supporters' receive preliminary training on non-face-to-face services such as KB Star Banking, Liiv, STM, and methods for using digital services for customers waiting in branches. They will carry out supporter activities at branches nationwide over the next two months. Additionally, various benefits, including scholarships, will be provided to the top-performing supporters.
In particular, they plan to actively promote services such as the 'KB Mobile Application Pre-Fill Service,' which allows users to fill out application forms in advance by simply entering a QR code on their mobile devices, and the 'KB Bio Authentication (Easy Banking) Service,' which enables transactions at counters and automated machines without cards or passbooks.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "University students familiar with digital technology will act as ambassadors leading the promotion and transformation of customers' digital service experiences," adding, "We plan to expand the program as a positive digital promotion channel utilizing the enthusiastic energy of university students during the vacation season."
Meanwhile, the 'University Student Digital Supporters' program is expected to be expanded further during this winter vacation period.
