[Culture & Life Section Reporter Jeonghwa Choi] Lotte Hotel has been inducted into the Hall of Fame for the first time in the hotel industry at the '2020 Korea Service Awards.'

The Korea Service Awards is a service management evaluation system organized by the Korea Standards Association that applies scientific evaluation indicators related to CEO leadership, corporate social responsibility, mid- to long-term strategy, welfare, and management performance. To be nominated for the Hall of Fame, a company must have won the Grand Prize in the Korea Service Awards for five consecutive years. It is the most prestigious award given only to companies that receive high scores in strict on-site evaluations by expert committees on 78 evaluation items and employee satisfaction survey results. Lotte Hotel has proven its position as a leading hotel company in Korea by winning the Grand Prize in the hotel category for six consecutive years from 2013 to last year.

At this year's Korea Service Awards, Lotte Hotel received high praise for establishing a CS (Customer Service) innovation system, building a global management system, and establishing a talent development system. First, as part of CS innovation activities to spread a customer satisfaction culture, 300 frontline employees were designated as 'CS Mates' to focus on managing service quality by hotel, and CS workshops are regularly held to make every effort to improve service.
