[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jeong-ho] Singer Hong Jin-young and her older sister Hong Sun-young went to the hospital over diet issues.

On the afternoon of the 5th, SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' (hereafter 'Miwoo-sae') aired, featuring TVXQ's Yunho as a special MC, and the daily life of the Hong sisters was broadcast.

In the episode, Hong Sun-young ate black-colored food as part of a 'Color Food Challenge.' Seeing this, Hong Jin-young nagged her sister, saying she would gain weight.

Hong Sun-young claimed that eating only one color of food would not cause weight gain and even drank cola. In response, Hong Jin-young bluntly said, "Just don't diet."

Then Hong Jin-young teased, "Sister, you are a rice person. That's why your nickname is Bapsaebi." She expressed concern, saying, "Dieting isn't about becoming pretty. It's for health."

Later, Hong Sun-young said she was getting tested for the 'fat bacteria' that makes people gain weight even when eating little, and went to the hospital with Hong Jin-young.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the Hong sisters asked about the fat bacteria. The doctor replied, "It's a bacteria that accumulates fat, commonly called fat bacteria."

Hong Sun-young asked, "Could it be genetic?" The doctor revealed the test results, saying, "You fall within the top 10%," which made Hong Sun-young uneasy.

Hearing that genetics also play a role, Hong Sun-young blamed their mother, saying, "It's all mom's fault," which brought laughter.

Meanwhile, the obesity bacteria called 'Firmicutes' is known as the so-called fat bacteria.

About 100 billion microorganisms live per gram in the human gut. The distribution of Firmicutes, the obesity bacteria that determines fat breakdown in our body, and 'Bacteroidetes,' the lean bacteria, changes one's body type.

It is especially known that obese people have significantly more Firmicutes. Firmicutes is one of the harmful bacteria in the gut that promotes fermentation of sugars in the body, causing excessive fat production and generating fatty acids that induce obesity.
