[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Actor Lee Jang-woo revealed his daily life spent in a camping car.
On the MBC show "I Live Alone" aired on the 3rd, Lee Jang-woo started his day inside a camping car with a view of the sea instead of at home.
Lee Jang-woo introduced his newly purchased camping car, saying, "I made up my mind and bought it. I bought it on lease."
He also said, "I've driven about 10,000 km. If I pay it off over 10 years monthly, I can enjoy the hobby without much financial burden. It's very convenient because it's like carrying a house around."
Lee Jang-woo's camping car was equipped with a bedroom featuring a built-in hot water mat and a compact bathroom. Moreover, the cozy living room and a hidden additional bed surprised the studio.
In particular, solar panels were installed on top of the camping car, allowing the use of electronic devices at night with the charged solar energy.
He explained, "My camping car has a 960 ampere lithium iron phosphate battery. It has a battery and solar energy sufficient to fully operate 220v appliances."
Lee Jang-woo did not purchase the camping car solely for his hobby. He said, "Before my parents get older, I want to travel around the country with the camping car and try it out."
He explained that the purchase of the camping car was also motivated by his parents, saying, "My mother and father’s generation do not enjoy these kinds of things. Even if I give them allowance, they don't spend it."
