Jeonnam Western Region Child Protection Agency - Muan County Hold Meeting to Establish Child Protection System


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] The Jeonnam Western Region Child Protection Agency (Director Bae Jun-yeol and Chief Kang Seong-gyu) announced on the 3rd that they held a meeting with related organizations to establish a child protection system.


The meeting was attended by the Resident Life Division Childcare Team (Team Leader Yoon Woon-ja) of Muan County Office, the School Support Center Life and Human Rights Team (Team Leader Jeon Yoon-jung) of Muan Education Support Office, and the Child Abuse Prevention Police Officer (Sergeant Shim Woo-sun) of Muan Police Station.


At this regular meeting, they shared the status of inter-agency cooperation following the reorganization of the child protection system and discussed current issues related to child abuse case management in Muan County. Based on this discussion, they plan to work on identifying problems and improvement measures in the child abuse response system and promote efficient collaboration among agencies.


Bae Jun-yeol, Director of the Jeonnam Western Region Child Protection Agency, said, “Through quarterly regular meetings in Muan County, we will redefine each agency’s tasks and establish a joint response system to ensure that children in the region can grow up safely.”


Yoon Woon-ja, Head of the Childcare Team at Muan County, stated, “We will strive to improve the child abuse response system within Muan County and continue to actively cooperate to ensure the safe protection of children in the region.”
