[Breaking] 30s Infection in Icheon... Contact with Confirmed Case at Emart24 Yangji Logistics Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 3rd that a 32-year-old man living in Jeungpo-dong tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The man is a friend of an Emart24 Yangji Consignment Logistics Center employee (Yongin patient No. 102) who was confirmed positive on the 29th of last month, and it was investigated that they had contact inside a vehicle on the 28th of the same month. The man was under self-quarantine from the 29th of last month but showed symptoms such as fever and underwent a COVID-19 test on the 2nd of this month.

The Emart24 Yangji Consignment Logistics Center employee was classified as a subject of active monitoring after contact with a logistics center colleague (Anyang patient No. 61) who was confirmed positive on the 26th of last month, and later confirmed to be infected.

Anyang patient No. 61 is understood to have been infected through contact with a church member (Gunpo patient No. 59) who was the first confirmed case related to Anyang Juyeonggwang Church.
