[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] Jimin, a member of the idol group AOA, denied the allegations made by fellow former group member and actress Kwon Mina, who claimed she was bullied by Jimin, calling it a "novel," while Kwon Mina responded by saying, "It's a novel too scary to be called a novel."

On the same day, Jimin wrote the word "novel" on her Instagram story. It appears to be a statement addressing Kwon Mina's allegations of bullying. The post has since been deleted.

In response, Kwon Mina posted on her Instagram, saying, "It's a novel too scary to be called a novel," along with a photo of wrist scars.

She continued, "After 3 to 4 treatments, the scars have faded. But the memory of unnie (older sister) does not disappear. Every day, I feel like I'm going crazy," adding, "Jimin unnie, law? lawsuit? I can't do it because I don't have money. Compensation for mental damage? I don't need any of that. What I want is for you to come in front of me, admit your wrongdoings, and offer a sincere apology."

She further added, "The unnie who bullied me is living very well. Every day for me is painful just to open my eyes," and pleaded, "Please admit it and apologize. Let's also untangle the knots in my heart."

Earlier, Kwon Mina claimed that she was continuously bullied by a member during AOA's activities.

Kwon Mina explained the bullying situation, saying, "After my father passed away, I cried once in the waiting room, and an unnie dragged me to the waiting room closet, saying, 'You’re ruining the mood because of you,' and told me not to cry. I said, 'I'm really scared.'

She added, "Honestly, I really didn’t want to leave AOA, but because of one person who hated me, I endured 10 years of bullying. Honestly, in the end, I was so overwhelmed that I wanted to curse at least once," and confessed, "Eventually, I gave up on AOA."

She also said, "Recently, the father of the unnie who bullied me passed away, and I felt very heartbroken and strange," adding, "When I went to the funeral, as soon as she saw me, she cried and apologized. The resentment disappeared, and everything was okay, but I was too broken."

Netizens who read Kwon Mina's post speculated that the person who bullied her might be Jimin, citing the recent passing of Jimin's father.
