Min Kyung-wook's Car Towed at the National Assembly... Tow Truck Driver Says "Scratches Were There Originally"

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Former Future United Party lawmaker Min Kyung-wook drove his private car to the National Assembly on the 30th of last month but had his car towed due to illegal parking. He claimed that the bumper got scratched during the process and even took verification photos, but the tow truck driver denied this, saying, "The scratches were already there."

According to MBC on the 2nd, the tow truck driver, Mr. Yoo, took several photos before towing Min's car. Based on these, Mr. Yoo asserted that the front bumper of Min's car was already scratched at the time of towing.

In an interview with the media, Mr. Yoo said, "I sent the photos as they were to Mr. Min," but Min reportedly insisted, "How can you believe those photos?" and maintained that the scratches occurred during the towing process.

Earlier, former United Party lawmaker Cha Myung-jin released a photo showing Min pointing to the scratches on his car.

Mr. Cha wrote, "The joy of getting a new car was short-lived. Min Kyung-wook, who drove his own car to the National Assembly, parked hastily on the street and got towed from the embankment in front of the National Assembly. To make matters worse, there were scratches on the bumper. From behind Min, who says 'the car is only two days old,' a faint steam rises."

He added, "If there had been a National Assembly badge on the front windshield of his beloved car, would it have been the same? Why do I find this laughable rather than sympathetic? Brother, you will surely experience the sorrow of losing your badge from now on."
