Gwangju University, Full Effort to Prevent COVID-19 Spread Including Installation of Entrance Fever Screening Stations

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) is making every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On the 2nd, Gwangju University announced that it has installed fever screening stations and temporary waiting rooms at all campus entrances and adopted a drive-thru system.

This measure aligns with the elevation of social distancing to 'Level 2' in Gwangju Metropolitan City.

In addition, daily disinfection is being carried out in classrooms where face-to-face classes are held, as well as in hallways and restrooms.

Notably, Gwangju University is the first university in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions to develop and operate a COVID-19 self-diagnosis app, and has installed air showers and fever detectors in dormitories, dedicating all efforts to creating a safe environment for students and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
