Chief Choi, who entered public service as a firefighter in 1995, has held key positions including Head of the Protection and Prevention Division at the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters.
Chief Choi Jeong-sik stated, “We will implement fire administration that prioritizes citizens' safety and strive to establish a disaster safety response system suited to regional changes,” adding, “We will focus all the fire station’s capabilities on responding to and preventing the spread of COVID-19.”
