According to Gwangsan Fire Station on the 1st, Chief Lim chose on-site inspections of habitual flood-prone areas in the jurisdiction as his first task to prepare for the upcoming heavy rains during the monsoon season.
On that day, to prevent water-related accidents in summer, he visited the 119 Citizen Water Rescue Team stationed around Songsan Amusement Park and the Imgokgyo Bridge area to check safety in waterfront areas.
Chief Lim stated, “We will thoroughly prepare in advance for habitual flood zones and areas at risk of water-related casualties within the jurisdiction to ensure that citizens’ safety is not threatened during the summer season.”
