NextBT Donates FDA-Registered Medical Protective Suits 'NextCare' to Tajikistan

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] NextBT, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 1st that it donated 500 medical protective suits 'NextCare' to Tajikistan, one of the major countries in Central Asia.

During the donation ceremony, a meeting was also held between Kim Chang-gyun, CEO of NextBT, and Yusup Sharifzoda, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Korea. The donation was carried out through the Korea-Central Asia Friendship Association.

Tajikistan has a population of about 9.54 million, which is smaller than the population of Seoul Metropolitan City, but the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reaches about 5,700, which is half the level of South Korea.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) on the 27th, the spread of COVID-19 has surged in the past two weeks in 30 European countries including Central Asian countries. NextBT plans to contribute to ending the pandemic and maximize profits by selling protective suits, whose demand is increasing due to signs of a second wave of COVID-19, as well as COVID-19 diagnostic kits from TCM Life Science, a company to be fully incorporated as a 100% subsidiary.

NextCare is a Level D grade product that meets the standards of the World Health Organization. It is registered as Medical Class 1 by the U.S. FDA and is undergoing CE certification in Europe. This product is a protective suit made by combining polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), which can completely block droplets, chemicals, chemical solutions, and blood.

A company official stated, “We will actively engage in efforts to overcome COVID-19 both domestically and internationally,” and added, “We will become a company that strives for the health and safety of humanity.”
