[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] On the 1st, Kim Du-gwan, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea who has been continuing remarks related to the 'Incheon International Airport Corporation (In-guk-gong) incident,' urged, "Before defending the 'In-guk-gong incident,' indict Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong."

On the same day, Representative Kim posted on his Facebook a post titled "Where are the Chosun, JoongAng, DongA newspapers and the United Future Party who shouted about In-guk-gong unfairness?" and made these remarks.

He said, "To the Chosun Ilbo, which did not hesitate to make personal attacks against me, even digging into my son's study abroad issues, claiming that the issue of converting irregular workers at Incheon International Airport Corporation was 'unfair,'" and added, "Cancel the editorial on the 27th titled 'Prosecutors should listen to the opinion to suspend investigation and non-prosecution of Samsung' and urge the indictment of Vice Chairman Lee."

He continued, "If the Chosun Ilbo, which claimed to be the media creating a fair world in its coverage of In-guk-gong, it should naturally do so," and pointed out, "If it cannot do so, the word 'fairness' should be forever erased from the pages of Chosun."

Representative Kim also continued his criticism of the United Future Party. He said, "Almost all political circles strongly criticize the Supreme Prosecutors' Office's Investigation Deliberation Committee's recommendation to suspend investigation and non-prosecution of Samsung's Lee Jae-yong, but only the United Future Party remains silent," and criticized, "Where are the politicians who shouted 'fairness' day after day in the In-guk-gong issue and demanded the suspension of irregular worker conversion?"

He added, "I urge you to come to the communication office even today and hold a press conference demanding that the prosecution must indict Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong. This is essential to protect the liberal democracy and market economy that the United Future Party always advocates whenever it opens its mouth."

Representative Kim also earnestly appealed to the youth, saying, "If we cannot abolish the privileged republic where only one exam pass guarantees such high wages that other young people cannot even look, lifelong employment, and the Samsung republic where any shameless crime can be committed without punishment as long as you have money, the future our youth desire will not come. Please join in creating a fair world."
