Industry's Largest Operation of 178 Centers Demonstrates Commitment to Customer Satisfaction
Samsung Electronics Service was selected as No. 1 in the Korea Service Quality Index (KS-SQI), and employees are taking a commemorative photo together.
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 1st that it was selected as the number one in all categories of electronic product A/S (customer service) in the '2020 Korea Service Quality Index' survey conducted by the Korea Standards Association.
The Korea Service Quality Index is an indicator that represents customers' perceived satisfaction with a company's service quality. Since the survey began, Samsung Electronics Service has been ranked first in ▲Computer A/S category 19 times ▲Home Appliance A/S category 17 times ▲Mobile Phone A/S category 17 times, maintaining its position as the industry leader.
Samsung Electronics Service explained that the reason it has been recognized as a specialized service company for a long time is based on innovations to provide customer service beyond expectations. Recently, it introduced a chatbot service applying deep learning artificial intelligence (AI) data training technology, receiving great responses from customers. When using the chatbot, customers can receive optimal solutions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The 'Mobile Phone Visit Service,' which inspects mobile phones at the customer's desired location, is also being implemented. Foldable phone users can receive all services including display replacement. Customers experiencing call quality issues regardless of the model can have the radio environment inspected at the location where the problem occurs.
In regions where visiting service centers is difficult, a bus equipped with specialized equipment is dispatched to inspect mobile phones through the 'Visiting Service.' During on-site inspections, additional free inspections for other products such as refrigerators and washing machines are provided, along with usage tips through the 'Plus One Service.' As of today, Samsung Electronics Service operates the largest number of service centers in the industry, totaling 178.
